A continuing program of the Provincial Government, the PGNS Medical Scholarship Program Board under the present administration of Governor Harris Ongchuan, convened today to review the applications received by the PGNS MSP Technical Working Group for this scholarship program exclusively for Nortehanon aspiring doctors.
In time for the opening of academic year 2025-2026, the PGNS
MSP Board found 13 applications complete with the required documents . These 13
medical scholarship applicants will be called for interview on August 12, 2025
at the Provincial Capitol to assess and validate their qualifications.
As provided in the Ordinance creating the PGNS MSP, the
interview is part of the screening process, after which the PGNS MSP Board will
submit its recommendation to the Governor for his approval. The applicants will
be evaluated based on their overall academic performance, financial need and
behavioral competencies.
Present during the meeting were PGNS MSP Board Chair, Dr.
Ma. Aurora Vicencio, Vice Chair Board Member Floriane Uy, and Members of the
MSP Board Ms. Adelwisa Acebuche, Mr. Arnel Estigoy, and Mr. Ruel Jarito
assisted by the MSP Technical Working Group.
