Nortehanon pride, Mr. Jerry B. Gracio wins Best Screenplay Award in Japan Film Festival

With great pride, the Provincial Government congratulates Nortehanon Jerry B. Gracio, Japan Film Festival Best Screenplay Awardee for Pieta film!

This prestigious award in Osaka, Japan adds up to the many recognitions already received by Mr. Gracio nationally and internationally, for his outstanding gift as filmwriter, poet and artist.

Starred by Nora Aunor and directed by Adolf Alix, the film also received the Best Actor Award for Alfred Vargas.

While already a celebrated writer and an admired icon in the industry, Mr. Gracio has kept a big heart for the Nortehanon community, gracing many local events, notably the Ibabao Writers' Workshop where he served as one of the renowned resource persons.
