The new Catarman Municipal Building in Brgy. Macagtas,
Catarman, Northern Samar continues to take shape with the construction of the
second phase of the project.
On September 17, 2026, the Provincial Government
Inspectorate Team conducted an on-site monitoring and inspection of the Second
Phase of the construction to assess project implementation and ensure that the
works adhere to established infrastructure standards, technical requirements,
and approved project specifications.
The inspection forms part of the Provincial Government’s
continuing commitment to quality infrastructure projects and support the
development of safe, quality, and durable government facilities that will
strengthen public service delivery and provide lasting benefits to communities.
The Provincial Government also supported the development of
Phase 1 of the municipal building, which likewise underwent inspection by the
Provincial Government Inspectorate Team last year.
The project is jointly funded by the Local Government Unit
of Catarman, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar, and the national
government through the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH),
highlighting intergovernmental collaboration in strengthening public
infrastructure and improving government facilities in the province.
