Board Member Don Avalon describes how the Provincial Government came up with its Annual Budget, a product of careful deliberation and collaboration among stakeholders

Chair of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committe on Budget and Appropriations, he made the statement during the SP Regular Session on December 6, 2024 where he spoke about the appropriations ordinance which he sponsored and supported by all members of the SP.

“This budget is the result of careful consideration, collaboration, and a commitment to transparency. We see a blueprint for progress: increased funding for various necessary and critical services, enhanced delivery of essential services, and vital infrastructure projects that will drive economic development,” BM Abalon said.  

He also highlighted that the programs outlined in the annual budget reflects a strategic vision, prioritizing social services and infrastructure projects that will form the foundation of Northern Samar's economic growth and development.  

This translates the Provincial Government's commitment under Governor Edwin Ongchuan’s leadership to creating meaningful and lasting impacts in the province.
