Riverbank Flood Control along Paysud-Cabariwan-Sangay-Napo-Capacujan-Bagacay Provincial Road

The Provincial Government has completed the construction of Riverbank Flood Control along Paysud-Cabariwan-Sangay-Napo-Capacujan-Bagacay Provincial Road in Palapag, Northern Samar, funded under its Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (LDRRMF).

The project, which includes 90 linear meters slope protection with sheet pile, aims to protect road travelers and nearby communities from flooding and landslide, especially during intense rains and weather disturbances.

The initiative is part of the Provincial Government’s greater efforts for disaster preparedness, mitigation and resiliency, promote road safety and foster economic development for Northern Samar.
