Northern Samar LGUs and Municipal Councils Receive Awards During PCL Week

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan awarded resolutions of commendation to the Sangguniang Bayan of nine municipalities in the province on September 10, 2024 at the Ibabao Hall, Provincial Capitol for having been recognized as Most Outstanding Sanggunians in the 2023 Local Legislative Awards.

The Local Legislative Awardees are as follows:

1st to 3rd Class Municipalities

•Las Navas– Passer

4th to 6th Class Municipalities

•San Roque– Rank 1

•Gamay– Rank 2

•San Isidro– Rank 2

•San Jose– Rank 3

•Lavezares– Passer

These Municipal.Councils were recognized for their outstanding performance in implementing legislative measures that contribute to the socio-economic and environmental development of their respective municipalities.

Additionally, the Philippine Councilor's League – Northern Samar Chapter, honored 40 SB members for their dedicated service for three consecutive terms through the Three Term Service Awards held on the same occasion.
