THE SOURCE || The Man who Explored the Depths of Mapanas Blue Lagoon invites Nortehanons and tourists to try Northern Samar's aquatic recreational activities

Northern Samar's guest Freediver Instructor Trainer, Jose C. Jose, Jr., attested to the beauty that lies underneath the waters of Northern Samar. Having explored the underwater cave of the Blue Lagoon and dived in the tourist spots in the province including Cabacungan, Bangkawan, and Barubaybay, Kap Jose was astonished of his discovery in his exploration dives confirming that the bodies of water in Northern Samar is worth exploring for its pristine condition. He stated that the underwater view is something that Nortehanons and tourists miss, urging everyone to try freediving and snorkeling in the province.

Jose C. Jose, Jr. is the first male Molchanov Instructor Trainer in the Philippines and a National record holder in Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) in the 10th AIDA Panglao Depth Games, reaching 57 meters underwater without the aid of fins and breathing apparatus. Certified to train coaches in freediving, he led the recently conducted Freediving Certification Course which was hosted by the Provincial Government through the Provincial Economic Development Investment and Promotions Office in partnership with Tugkad Freediving.

With a supportive Provincial Government and a freediving community that is teachable and adaptable to aquatic environment, the Instructor Trainer sees the growth of the community and the potential of the province to be the top diving destination in Eastern Visayas.
