New Covered Court for Generoso R. Frigillana Memorial School in Barangay Dalakit, Catarman

In the aim to aid the delivery of quality education in educational institutions in the province, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar has recently completed the construction of a new school covered court in Generoso R. Frigillana Memorial School in Barangay Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar.

The completion of the P6.1 milliion project provides a venue for the school to effectively deliver cultural, sports and other school-related activities, promoting the health and well-being of the community.

The project also comes with the construction of drainage canal to prevent flooding inside the school premises and providing safety to the students and teachers.

Barangay Dalakit, the biggest barangay in Catarman, has a population of 12,075 as of 2020, and the Generoso R. Frigillana Memorial School is the only elementary school that caters to its schoolchildren population.

The project is a testament to the commitment of the Provincial Government of Northern Samar under the active leadership of Governor Edwin Ongchuan, to fostering education in support to building a brighter future for Northern Samar and its youth.
