1,056 transactions served during 2-Day PRC Mobile Services in Northern Samar

The Provincial Government of Northern Samar, through the Northern Samar Public Employment Service Office (NS PESO) reported a total of 1,056 transactions served during the 2-day PRC Mobile Services held this week in Catarman, Northern Samar.

The Provincial Government through Governor Edwin Ongchuan and Vice Governor Clarence Dato thanked the Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office 8 for extending their services to the Nortehanons on July 22-23, 2024 at the Provincial Capitol Gym. 

On the first day, the program has served a total of 521 clients while on the second day, it was able to cater to a total of 535 clients.

Offering various services such as application for licensure examination, application for initial registration, renewal of PRC licenses, and issuance of various certifications and authentications, the 2-day program was able to successfully cater to 1,056 transactions. 

Every year, Governor Edwin Ongchuan requests PRC to bring its services to Northern Samar to accept applications for licensure examinations, renewal of professional licenses and other services, including the holding of BLEPT in the province.

This year, he has also requested the designation of Northern Samar as a special testing center for the September 2024 licensure examination for teachers.

The program has not only brought its services closer to the people, but it has also created a venue for potential employment as Nortehanons were able to transact and get necessary documents for employment.

Through the years, the Provincial Government has continued to partner with PRC to provide Nortehanons easier access in processing essential documents without having to travel to distant places outside the province.
