A total of 114 streetlights have been installed along the national highway in Brgy. Magsaysay, Bobon, Northern Samar. Through the project, the Provincial Government aims to improve road visibility, reduce road accidents and generally keep Nortehanons safe, especially motorists and pedestrians, during nighttime.
The construction of solar street lights was funded by the Provincial Government of Northern Samar under its 20% EDF for CY 2023.
To ensure that the project was constructed as designed, the PGNS Inspectorate Team conducted inspection of the project on August 15, 2023.
