Somoge-Cag-abaca Provincial Road rehab now completed

The Provincial Government has completed the rehabilitation of the Somoge-Cag-abaca Provincial Road located in Catarman, which was damaged by heavy rains and past typhoons. The project especially includes the construction of slope protection to ensure the safety of commuters traversing this road section. Portions of the Somoge-Cag-abaca Road pass through hilly sides, and are prone to landslides and soil erosion.

Funded by the Provincial Government, the project is part of Governor Edwin Ongchuan’s poverty reduction thrust to make transport of agricultural products easier, and increase people’s access to social, health, economic, and other government services.
