The Provincial Government has completed the concreting of the Catigbian-Sibunot-Gibatangan-Yabyaban-Cabagngan-Simora Road in Laoang, Northern Samar. Final inspection of the 1.105-kilometer and 6.5-meter-wide road was made yesterday, February 14, 2023.
Residents of Brgys. Catigbian, Yabyaban, Sibunot, Gibatangan, and Cabagngan, and other nearby communities will now have easier transport of their agri-products, increased access to health, social, economic and other government services.
The road concreting project, funded through the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP), is aligned with the development thrust of Governor Edwin Ongchuan to reduce poverty through infrastructure and economic development programs.
