Lalaguna Mangrove Eco Park opens new attraction to tourists

The newly completed boardwalk and rest stop adds to the slew of attractions Lalaguna Mangrove Eco Park (LMEP) offers. The 83.9 meter boardwalk and rest stop made of bamboo and concrete poles gives an awesome experience to tourists, as they stroll along closer to the lush mangroves of the park. It provides an instagrammable view and serves as a docking point for tourist boats.

The development of the Lalaguna Eco Park aims to create livelihood and other social enterprise opportunities to the community surrounding the Lalaguna Bay area while at the same time promote environmental protection and management. In addition, the Local Government of Barangay San Isidro, Lavezares invites tourists to experience what the community can offer, from mouth watering seafood and scenic spots in the area.
The Lalaguna Eco Park improvement was made possible by the Provincial Engineering Office under the Community-Based Eco-Tourism Livelihood Project Fund of the provincial government, a priority thrust of Governor Ongchuan under his development agenda dubbed as Sustained PROGRESS, particularly under Sustainable Eco-Tourism and Environmental Management.
