A mark of its support to education, the Provincial Government headed by Governor Harris Ongchuan joined the ALS Graduation and Moving Up Ceremony through Vice Governor Clarence Dato, recently held at the Catarman Covered Court.
Led by DepEd Northern Samar, a total of eight hundred eighty eight (885) ALS completers (812 secondary and 76 elementary) from all 24 municipalities of the province were honored for finishing the program, making them eligible for higher education.
The Provincial Government, since the term of then Governor Edwin Ongchuan who chairs the Provincial School Board, regularly convenes to support initiatives in education to include the ALS Program, the employment of Learning Support Aides and province-paid teachers, the construction of schoolbuildings and financing sports-related and other development activities for Nortehanons.
Congratulations graduates!
