In a significant step to foster social reintegration and economic empowerment, the Provincial Government led the Provincial Task Force Balik Loob in the conduct of livelihood training on bread and pastry making at the 803rd Infantry Brigade.
The program marks a pivotal effort to support former rebels as they transition to peaceful and productive lives.
The training, which included hands-on instruction from TESDA BCAT, aimed to equip participants with essential skills in baking and pastry preparation, providing them with the tools needed to generate income and contribute positively to their communities. Supported by the Provincial Government, the program seeks to open opportunities for livelihood, fostering independence and self-reliance among former rebels.
"The livelihood training is part of our broader effort to help former rebels reintegrate into society—not just by providing financial assistance, but also by offering them meaningful skills that can improve their quality of life," said Ms. Maria Vanessa Salazar, Balay Darangpan Case Manager. "Through initiatives like these, we are empowering them to build a brighter, more stable future for themselves and their families."
This event highlights the commitment of the provincial government to promoting peace and development, ensuring that former rebels are not left behind but are instead given the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the betterment of society.
