𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧

The Provincial Government of Northern Samar has once again proven its unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and community empowerment by clinching a prestigious award at the Parangal: Gawad ng Kahusayan sa Komunikasyong Pampubliko. The province emerged as the Regional Winner and was recognized on the national stage by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as a runner-up in the Public Service Campaign category. This highlights the Kauswagan Caravan as an innovative platform for public-private cooperation and inter-agency partnership.

The Parangal Awards celebrates outstanding campaigns by government units and agencies that exemplify innovative and effective communication strategies in delivering their mandates and services. Along with the honor, the province was awarded Php 50,000 in the form of a grant, which will be utilized to further enhance the Kauswagan Caravan and expand its impact on communities.

To date, the Caravan has served almost 50,000 families or 190,000 individuals across 179 barangays. Currently, there are 113 stakeholders including 45 from the business private sector and 10 non-government organizations. The award highlights Kauswagan Caravan as a transformative platform uniting municipal, provincial, and national government agencies with private sector organizations and non-government organizations. It provides an avenue for the private sector to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities while integrating government programs to create a cohesive and impactful approach to public service.

This national recognition and the distinction of being a Regional Winner with National acclaim underscore Northern Samar’s leadership in public service innovation. The awards elevate the province as a beacon of excellence, demonstrating the power of collaboration in uplifting communities.
