The Northern Samar Mobile Laboratory Clinic is now serving our Kauswagan Caravan!

Today, the Mobile Laboratory Clinic of the Provincial Government of Northern Samar was used in the delivery of health services during the 29th Kauswagan Caravan in Brgy. Enriqueta, Lavezares.

The mobile clinic significantly allows our doctors to offer comprehensive medical check up by providing a detailed overview of the patients’ health status. With the facility, our health experts can carry out laboratory services in remote communities, outside the regular laboratories in hospitals.

The mobile laboratory clinic is equipped with modern diagnostic devices, which include a digital X-ray machine, an ultrasound machine, a hematology analyzer for blood tests, a binocular microscope, an ophthalmoscope for eye exams, a lab-grade refrigerator, telemedicine equipment, and a power generator to operate in areas without electricity.

Donated by the national government in August this year, Governor Edwin Ongchuan values this significant addition to the province's healthcare system seen to enhance equitable healthcare access across the province, particularly in geographically disadvantaged areas.
