A continuing commitment of the Provincial Government to build resilience, it has recently completed the construction of River Bank and Flood Control along Inilian-Burac-Coroconog-Ligue-Himabug-at, San Roque, Northern Samar.
The P6 million project consists of 40 linear meters concrete slope protection with sheet pile designed to protect the community from loss of life or property resulting from landslides, erosion and flooding during intense rains, typhoons and other natural disasters.
To ensure compliance to set engineering standards, the Provincial Government Inspectorate Team consisting of representatives from key PGNS offices, conducted onsite inspection on October 2, 2024.
The project is only one among various infrastructure development initiatives of the administration of Governor Edwin Ongchuan in pursuit of the province’s goal of building a resilient and progressive community.
