THE SOURCE || Regional Executive Director of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources RO 8, Lormelyn Claudio, lauds the leadership of Governor Edwin Ongchuan for recognizing the value of safeguarding Northern Samar's rich land and water resources. Echoing Governor Ongchuan’s words, she said the PAMB meeting was timely to talk through community efforts for environmental conservation, among other pressing concerns.

After a productive discussion with the governor and the members of the Protected Area Management Board, the DENR, through RED Claudio, remarked that they welcome development projects as long as they meet the set environmental standards. She also extended their team's excitement for more purposeful gatherings with the Provincial Government.

Regional Executive Director Claudio also noted how the Provincial Government, under the stewardship of Governor Ongchuan, was able to establish state-of-the art function hall, referring to the remarkable Ibabao Hall where the PAMB Meeting was held.
