With the aim to provide road visibility, reduce the number of road accidents, and to keep motorists, pedestrians and the Nortehanons in general safe during nighttime, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar has successfully installed a total of 127 Solar Streetlights along the National Highway in Lope De Vega, Northern Samar.
The PGNS Inspectorate Team conducted an inspection to ensure that the P 11.9 million project was constructed and installed as designed.
Funded by the Provincial Government, the installation of street lights is part of Governor Edwin Ongchuan’s visionary efforts to promote safety and security of the public, toward making a brighter community.
