UNICEF End of Year Review: 8th Country Programme for Children in Northern Samar

UNICEF Deputy Representative Mr. Behzad Noubary and the Chief of Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation, Mr. Xavier Foulquier and Galing Pook Executive Director Georgina Hernandez leads the UNICEF team during the End of Year Review on the 8th Country Programme for Children (CPC 😎, which is being held today, October 13, 2021 at the Ibabao Hall, Provincial Capitol, Catarman.

They are meeting with the members of the Provincial Steering Committee to discuss the following:

1.Present results achieved, change strategies, and progress for the implementation of the 8th Country Programme for Children (2019-2021) in the province of Northern Samar.

2.Reflect and discuss on the challenges, lessons learned and ways to strengthen the role of the province in scaling up interventions for children 

3.Discuss and identify provincial priorities and areas of cooperation for children for the next two year (2022-2023) 

Vice Governor Gary Lavin, in behalf of Governor Edwin Ongchuan, greeted the guests. He assured Mr. Noubary and his team that the province is one with the UNICEF's mission of preserving the health, safety and well-being of the children in the province. 

"We should invest more for our children because investing on them means investing for the future generation. This would be our greatest contribution to the humanity — a lasting legacy for the benefit and enjoyment of the generations to come," Vice Governor Lavin said in his message.
