The training aims to lessen the number of stray dogs and to prevent the increase of vehicular accidents and rabies.
The agenda for discussion are:
📌Rabies Diseases and Provincial Animal Rabies Situation
📌Provincial Human Rabies Situation
📌R.A. 9482 or "Anti-Rabies Act of 2007" and Animal Welfare Act (R.A. 8485)
A total of 30 barangay tanod from 20 barangay of Allen and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) staff participated the Dog Catcher's Training.
The Provincial Veterinary Office, in collaboration with the Allen Municipal Agriculture Office, MDRRMO and RHU-Allen conducted the training.
The training was attended by Veterinarian III, overall Project Coordinator of Provincial Veterinary Office, Dr. Reynaldo Ogalesco, Livestock Inspector I, Sheila V. Acero, Meat Inspector, Casiano B. Tejero.
Also present in the activity are: Municipal Agriculture Officer, Judy P. Morado and Sanguniang Bayan member, Chairman on Agriculture, Jude B. Diaz.
