THE SOURCE || Governor Ongchuan affirms support to improving NSPH and other health facilities

Recognizing a continuously evolving world, inevitably bringing increased demand for healthcare services from our people, Governor Harris Ongchuan assured the public that the Provincial Government will continue to respond to the challenges of the times, strengthen our local heathcare system and support goals of better life for every Nortehanon.

“The Provincial Government will continuously strive that our healthcare services become accessible and responsive, that our workforce continues to grow and improve, that our systems are prepared for the challenges of the changing environment and that every Nortehanon is given the opportunity to live a healthier life,” Governor Ongchuan said.

From 1956 up to the present that the NSPH withstood the challenges of healthcare service delivery, he acknowledged the sacrifice and unwavering commitment to saving lives of doctors and nurses, as well as all the hospital workforce, from the utility workers who kept hospital space safe and sanitary, the administrative staff who ensured systems run smoothly, the aides, the technicians and support personnel who continuously work behind the scenes to ensure that patients are cared for.

“For 7 decades you stood strong, showing up every day with courage and purpose. Over the years, we have witnessed positive changes within NSPH, reflecting compassion and commitment to service,” he added.

Governor Ongchuan reiterated his support for Health, which is part of the Provincial Government’s priority development agenda, during the 70th Founding Anniversary celebration of NSPH.
