The Provincial Government of Northern Samar, led by Governor
Harris Ongchuan, treated kids to an endearing Halloween celebration at the
Capitol on Friday. Over 600 kids joined the fun, wearing colorful, and creative
costumes that filled the Capitol halls with laughter, excitement and cheerful
buzz.
The event featured a magical show, engaging performances and
a lively mascot performance by Jollibee, giving so much enjoyment to the little
ones.
A tradition started by former Governor Edwin in the past
years, different Provincial Government offices joined in the kiddie treat by
setting up themed booths filled with goodies, surprises, and playful
decorations, making every corner of the Capitol a fun stop for children.
The celebration was made more special with Cong
Edwin and Ms. Bles Ongchuan joining Governor Harris and Mayor Charlene
in sharing moments of joy and goodies with the kids.
An inspiring gesture of affection and care for the
vulnerable sector of the community, this annual Trick or Treat celebration is
one of the Provincial Government's continued efforts in creating nurturing
experiences for Nortehanons where they are showered time and a safe space to be
happy and loved.
As the day ended, the smiles on the children’s faces said it
all that even in simple ways, joy and care can go a long way.
