SIKLAB AWARDS 2024: Honoring Northern Samar's Youth Leaders and Advocates

The SIKLAB AWARDS 2024, a momentous event organized by the Northern Samar Provincial Youth Development Office and the Panlalawigang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), was held on December 11, 2024, at the Ibabao Hall, Provincial Capitol, Catarman.

This event recognized and celebrated the invaluable contributions made by youth development workers, advocates, and organizations across the province, shining a spotlight on the dedication and leadership of the region’s youth.

The term SIKLAB , meaning "spark," "flame," or "blaze," aptly reflected the vibrant potential, energy, and brilliance of Northern Samar's youth. It serves as a reminder of the youth’s ability to inspire change and drive meaningful development through innovation and commitment.

The Siklab Awards acknowledged outstanding individuals and groups for their leadership, dedication, and service to youth development and welfare. The winners for this year were as follows:

Outstanding Local Youth Development Offices:

1st Place: Local Youth Development Office of San Roque

2nd Place: Local Youth Development Office of Laoang

3rd Place: Local Youth Development Office of Gamay
