LGU Biri and San Antonio, recognized as Highly-Functional Anti-Drug Councils in 2024 ADAC National Awards

 

Committed to building a drug-free environment, the Municipal Anti-Drug Councils of Biri and San Antonio have been conferred the prestigious Highly-Functional Anti-Drug Abuse Council Award by the DILG during the ADAC National Awards held on December 11, 2024 at the Manila Hotel, Ermita.

The awarding ceremony highlights the top performing local government units in implementing anti-drug initiatives for a healthy, safer, and drug-free communities.

With this year's theme, "Matatag na Pamayanan, Sandata Laban sa Illegal na Droga", the National Award showcases the strong stance of LGUs in combating illegal drug use and abuse. For implementing anti-drug programs, projects, and activities in their respective communities and ensuring its effectiveness, the LGUs of Biri and San Antonio were among the ADAC Councils in the country that were honored for serving at the frontline in the campaign against illegal drugs.

Present in the ceremony were Senator Francis Tolentino and DILG 8 Regional Director Arnel Agabe.
