Concreting of provincial road along La Perla-Cabulaloan-Yabyaban in Laoang, Northern Samar

To increase access of people and products from interior barangays of the province, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar constructed a concrete 2-lane road going to the interior barangay of Brgy. Cabagngan in Laoang, Northern Samar, funded under its economic development fund.

The road project, located along La Perla-Cabulaloan-Yabyaban going to Brgy. Cabagngan, consists of 482.3 linear meters concrete road with slope protection and reinforced concrete box culvert (RCBC) to withstand heavy rains and possible accumulation of water during the wet season and weather disturbances.

The completion of the project will facilitate easier transport of people and products of Barangays Cabagngan, Yabyaban, Cabulaluan, La Perla, and other nearby barangays which are agricultural producing areas in the province. It is also seen to increase access to health, social, and other government services, propelling economic growth in the area.

To ensure that the project is compliant with the set infrastructure standards, the Provincial Government Inspectorate Team conducted the final inspection on October 15, 2024.

The Provincial Government of Northern Samar remains steadfast in its effort of promoting economic growth by bolstering infrastructure in the province to uplift the quality of life of the Nortehanons.
