Ms. Sofia Niña Dulay Cornejo, Hiyas ng Pilipinas 2024 candidate representing Northern Samar, visited the Provincial Capitol for a courtesy visit to Governor Edwin Ongchuan.
She also appeared before the SP Session Hall where she had the chance to meet Vice Governor Clarence Dato and the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
Ms. Cornejo, a Political Science Major and a student leader at Colegio de San Juan de Letran hailing from the town of Allen, has shown confidence and courage on stage where she was Top 12 finalist in the Miss Manila held in June this year.
Hiyas ng Pilipinas is an annual national pageant that celebrates the beauty and cultural treasures of the Philippines.
Inspired by the word "Hiyas" which means treasure or gem, the Hiyas ng Pilipinas pageant, with candidates from different regions in the Philippines showcases beauty in all aspects of humanity—physique and character.
