28th Kauswagan Caravan to Serve 1,106 Families

The Provincial Government of Northern Samar, along with its stakeholders, is set to visit Barangay Calomotan of Laoang to serve 1,106 families from the barangays of Aronganga, Aguadahan, Binaticlan, Magsaysay, and Calomotan on the 28th Kauswagan Caravan at Calomotan Elementary School on September 9, 2024.

Ahead of the caravan, a Stakeholders' Preparatory Meeting was held at Ibabao Hall, Provincial Capitol Building. During the meeting, representatives from national government agencies, non-government organizations, and the private sector committed to offeri a range of services, including free medical consultations, food packs, school supplies, veterinary care, circumcision, legal and career counseling, civil and government registrations, fire control demonstrations, and first aid training.

The barangay captains of the five participating barangays expressed their appreciation to Governor Edwin Ongchuan and the Provincial Government for extending these essential services to remote areas to benefit more families through the Kauswagan Caravan.

A brainchild of Governor Edwin Ongchuan, the Kauswagan Caravan continues to bridge gaps, empower communities, and create positive change throughout the province.
