Sixteen key officials of the Provincial Government of Benguet have arrived in Catarman today, August 28, 2024, to benchmark on the province’s investment initiatives.
Governor Edwin Ongchuan gladly met the delegation in his official residence, where they exchanged warm greetings and initially discussed details of the benchmarking visit.
Following the brief meet-and-greet, the Provincial Government through the Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (PEDIPO) will orient the guests on the Green Lane initiative, a discussion on Northern Samar's journey toward becoming an investment-friendly landscape.
This activity highlights Northern Samar's budding mark as a model for effective investment promotion and facilitation, fostering economic growth in the province.
The Benguet officials are positive about learning from Northern Samar’s experience which they can replicate for their provincial strategies, foster stronger economic ties and collaboration between Northern Samar and Benguet provinces.
