Provincial Government completes the construction of a new school building at Francisco B. Rosales Sr. National High School in Brgy. Quezon, Catarman

In the aim to support the education of the Nortehanon youth, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar constructed a 2-classroom school building at the Francisco B. Rosales Sr. National High School, formerly known as the Polangi National High School-Annex located in Barangay Quezon, Catarman, Northern Samar.

Barangay Quezon, a remote barangay in the province with a distance of 22.2 kilometers from poblacion Catarman, has a population of around 800.

As the Quezon community works towards expanding the Francisco B. Rosales Sr. National High School, the newly completed project will contribute to providing a conducive learning environment for the continuously growing number of its learners.

The school building, compliant to DepEd standards, has comfort rooms and lavatory, ramp, ventilation system and electrical installations.

The PGNS Inspectorate Team conducted inspection of the school building today, March 14, 2024.

The project marks Governor Edwin Ongchuan's commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure while also promoting effective and quality education in the province.
