Nortehanon Pet Owners Flock to Provincial Capitol for Free Pet Services

As part of the Ibabao Festival, Nortehanon pet owners gathered at the Provincial Capitol Grounds for the free pet services hosted by the Provincial Government through the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO).

The veterinary mission dubbed as Pet Day featured a range of essential services, including free anti-rabies shots, castration services, and pet consultations. Additionally, some pet supplies were also sold for maintaining pet health.

Northern Samar Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Jose Luis Acompañado, formally opened the activity, while emphasizing the importance of public safety and responsible pet ownership. “This activity is to promote awareness of responsible pet ownership and the safety of the public,” he stated.
